Associate your accounts with industry types
When activating a merchant account via the Onboarding API, you are asked to define both an "Industry category" and "Specific industry." These pairings help ACHQ to better classify your portfolio and automatically assign merchant category codes and NAICS codes behind the scenes. Acceptable values for each pair can be found in the table below.
If you are unclear on how to classify your customers, or if your market is not accounted for, please let us know.
